Optical flats are typically designed for use in surface contact testing for front surface mirrors when coated. Optical Flats are fabricated from substrate-grade fused silica material and are available in two offerings: one side polished to spec or two sides polished.

- Diameter tolerance: +/-0.060”
- Thickness tolerance: +/-0.060”
- Wedge: ~ 3 minutes
- N.I.S.T Certified (please specify if certificate is required)

How To Order
When selecting from the Optical Flat Specification Chart, please specify the following:
- Part Number
- Add a U for Uncoated or a C for Coated. At the time of purchase, specify if Titanium Dioxide coating is required
- Add –A to the end of the part number for 1/20 wave surface, -B for 1/10 wave surface, and –C for ¼ wave surface
- Wooden Storage Box optional
